Building trust in yourself and your abilities can come from helping others to have a positive outlook, knowing that they are beings of light who just happen to be covered in old behavior patterns.

2020 feels like it’s going to be a breakthrough year, and now is a great time for us to begin/continue focusing on our creative inspiration.

Could this be the year that developing your intuition comes to the top of the list? Could it be now that you’re ready to step into your courageous self-awareness that the Divine resides in everyone and everything?

Our self-doubt creates all kinds of obstacles to our self-awareness, but getting in touch with the Divine within is easier than we think.

One way to develop your intuition and sense of knowing is to practice one of the proven modalities that offer a bit of respite from the busy-ness of your everyday life.

All modalities for self-awareness are just metaphorical rafts that we need only until we cross to the other side of the river, lake, or ocean of our inner selves. Sometimes it takes us awhile to navigate to the other side, and these modalities and teachings are here to help us gather information, settle into ourselves and relax into our being.

Here are some the “rafts” that allow us to keep moving toward self-awareness:

Movement

T’ai Chi Chu’an, Qigong, Yoga, swimming—any physical movement that moves us way from our thinking and overactive minds. An overactive mind can keep us in a constant state of inner noise.

Divination

Dowsing, Tarot Cards, Runes—any tool that allows the conscious mind to move away from a desired outcome and let guidance that is truly best to come through to us.

Stillness

Meditation, walking meditation, walking in nature as meditation—anything that allows us to still the mind’s inner chatter.

What do all of these “rafts” have in common?  They quiet and calm the inner chatter of the mind.

They give us a chance to be in pure spirit even if for a moment. They allow us into that place where the ego steps back and the inner self, aligned with stillness and pure spirit, steps forward.

If you are experiencing a lot of inner noise, take heart. As empathic beings, we all have and will continue to experience these distractions, but the above modalities are time-tested to help still the mind.

Remember: You are a Divine being; you have all that you need to live that divinity. You know what your trust-in-self feels like—you’ve felt it before. It may have been a long time ago, but that feeling and knowing is still and always will be there. Try using one or more of these “raft” modalities to help you remember it.

I too am a raft. I am here to assist you on your journey to Self as Pure Spirit.

Love and Many Blessings,

Melinda
