What does it mean to navigate illness and medical crises with clarity, empowerment, and hope? In this episode of Wisdom Keepers of Earth, Melinda Iverson Inn speaks with Shiri Ben-Arzi, founder of the Health and Medical Coaching Institute (HMCI), about patient autonomy, healing, and the power of becoming an active partner in one’s own healthcare journey.
In this Wisdom Keepers of Earth interview, health and medical coach Shiri Ben-Arzi discusses patient empowerment, healing, and navigating serious illness.
Shiri shares her extraordinary personal journey of being diagnosed with primary pulmonary hypertension and being told she had only two years to live — and that she would never be able to have children.
Rather than surrendering her power, she chose to work in partnership with physicians, educate herself about her condition, and take full ownership of her health journey.
Years later, she gave birth to a daughter who is now an adult — a powerful reminder that prognosis does not always define possibility.
