The Compassion and Healing Energy of the Mary Line

I’ll never forget the day I visited Glastonbury Abbey.

As I walked through those sacred grounds, I was overwhelmed with emotion. I could actually feel the powerful compassion of the Mary Line flowing through where I stood. It brought tears to my eyes, and in that moment, I knew something truly special was happening.

My Personal Journey with the Mary Line

This beautiful experience came before I ever picked up Hamish Miller’s wonderful little book on dowsing, The Definitive Wee Book on Dowsing: A Journey Beyond Our Five Senses.

When I later read and reread his work about sensing energies, particularly his writing about ley and energy lines, it was an “aha!” moment. Suddenly I had a framework for understanding something I had already felt so deeply in my heart.

I wasn’t at Glastonbury specifically looking for energy lines. I was simply traveling through. But as I walked among those ancient ruins, I was struck by an overwhelming sensation—a profound, powerful compassion that seemed to emanate directly from the earth beneath my feet.

It was a tangible, nurturing presence that brought tears to my eyes and a deep sense of peace to my heart. I didn’t have a name for it then, but I knew I had stumbled upon something incredibly special.

I had physically experienced what I came to understand as the compassionate, healing Divine Feminine energy of the Mary Line.

That experience completely transformed my perspective and fueled my passion for this work. It’s one thing to read about these concepts. It’s another thing entirely to feel them run through you.

Over time, that experience led me to wonder:

Could we invite this powerful earth energy into our own homes and personal spaces?

Bringing the Energy of the Mary Line Home

Since January 2026, I’ve been experimenting with that possibility—working with the Mary Line’s energy and exploring ways of replicating or inviting that energetic presence beneath homes and properties.

I’ve experienced encouraging results, although I’m still learning how long these replicated energies remain active. For me, this is an evolving exploration—one that continues to deepen as I work with the land, dowsing, crystal grids, and the energetic relationships between Earth and the stars.

What excites me is seeing similar ideas beginning to emerge among colleagues and others working with sacred sites and earth energies.

We are part of a growing community that is remembering an old way of connecting with the ever-present energies of the Earth and the stars.

I have been using crystal grids and collaborating with the star beings within the constellations since 2023. The possibility of anchoring earth-energy lines and celestial energies to support healing in our bodies, homes, and land creates, for me, a beautiful bridge between heaven and Earth.

It’s a profound time to be doing this work, and I am genuinely thrilled to see where we can take it together.
